Anyone got a bike to bike kit?

I've just recieved my Cobra radios, and the VOX/PPT kit. Radios work fine, but won't transmit through the PTT button, or the VOX mike.

Any help here?

Right, so with the VOX function turned off, the PTT works, but seems the VOX doesn't work through the mike. Is this right?

I don't know the Cobras intimately. I'd have thought it ought to but in practice there'll be so much wind noise that it'll be tripping the vox all the time.

Perhaps. They have a sensitivity you can set for the VOX. Problem is, it doesn't seem to work with the headset (earphone and mike combo) plugged in, so seems you need to use the bar monted PTT. I was hoping it would respond through the mike and so was entirely hands-free. The manual doesn't really make it clear one way or the other....bugger.

I've got VOX on my Autocom and TBH it can be a liability. If you set it high enough that it won't come on at motorway speeds then you have to shout to make it activate. Any lower and brisk acceleration from your Aprilia will trigger it. You end up broadcasting your engine note to your mates. I'd sooner PTT.
