I've got a Richa Air-Vent something or other. It's my first ever jacket and I really like it, very nice and breezy when it's hot, zip in the waterproof bit if it's wet, it also has a warm bit for when it's chilly. Cost about £120.

The 'armour' isn't as substantial as some, infact it's just bits of foam.

I'm going to look at the Halvarssons safety jacket this week. Will report back.

I bought a two piece Alpinestars leather suit recently, chosen mostly because I wanted a heavily vented jacket. I've been wearing the jacket nearly every day for the past couple of months, only going back to the textile jacket when it's absolutely pissing down. It's so well vented I've still got the removable lining in.

Will be a bit chilly in winter, mind. wink

I've got the HG GTX Cruise all weather jacket which is vented at the front at back, but it's rained nearly everyday since I bought it so don't know how good the ventilation is frown (it is totally waterproof though)

Hopefully the sun will shine all day today and I'll let you know later wink

Another vote for the Richa Airvent jacket!

It has an inner removable waterproof liner too.

Just one warning, the pockets are not waterproof - I drowned my phone two weeks ago in one of the downpours...

I've got a Hein Gericke maxwell summer jacket.

It's an armoured mesh jacket with a mix of leather & textile on the bits that would hit the road in an "off".

I know it's not the most protective bit of kit in the world but it's bloody comfortable, feels like you're just wearing a t-shirt once you're moving have got a bit of airflow.
