Hi,

Just finished watching a bumper session of BSB on ITV4 and ITV1, which was great however, I've got to say that can't they get anyone better than James Cracknell to present, he's got absolutely no personality and no credibility with bikes. Bin him and get Jamie Whitham to anchor the show as well as commentate.

Is it just me ?

No, lots of people. They'd be better off with a cardboard cut out and a voice over.

He seemed to get the job after presenting the first TV coverage of the Red Bull Air race from Longleat 2 years ago, just be glad they didn't offer the job to the other presenter on that day. That was Tamara Ecclestone, possibly the greatest waste of oxygen to appear on TV, so maybe we got off lightly.

utter boocks of bike racing on tv, in the papers etc..

Same with motorsport in general apart from F1 which is crap any way. Look at Le mans, 1 race with 300,000 people watching including me. millions watching it on TV and what do we get in the UK feck all

get ride of all the bloody football, tennis, rugby etc.. and put on more bikes, etc..

I wouldn't want ITV to cover Le Mans or even the BBC because they'd probably get Gary Lineaker to anchor it, I'll stick with the full coverage MotorsTV does.

Thought it was awful, due to the fact that having watched the first race on itv 4, I wasn't really bothered about seeing it again on itv 1 before the second race.
although it would of made less sense to people tuning in to watch itv 1, would of preferred them to show the second race live first, then show the first race afterwards

Seems the same 'ole as far as coverage concern. [that bloke on bsb is a divvy, but also James Haydons coverage of WSB last week was cringeworthy]. As for news cover,,,,, pathetic, JT gets double win at Brands' in front of 120,000 fans and what do we get on the news? Lewis Hamilton wins the F1 parade and the football season is about to start. TV for morons.

I would hazard a guess being married to Bev Turner, "the TV and radio presenter", helped a bit!!
