Worst kept secret confirmed.

Crash.net said:
Capirossi will thus ride alongside Chris Vermeulen at Paul Denning's team and replace the Kawasaki bound John Hopkins.

Prior to the 2007 season, Capirossi - a former 125 and 250cc world champion - had been Ducati's number one rider, winning five grands prix and finishing third in the 2006 championship.

However, the 34-year-old has struggled to adapt to Ducati's new 800cc machine and been left firmly in the shadow of title leading team-mate Casey Stoner.
Ducati
recently announced that it had signed Marco Melandri to join Stoner in its factory team next year.

Will be interesting - you do not go slow over night - he just did not get on with the 800 Ducati the way he did with the 990.

Good he is still around.

There is more than a few rounds left in Capirossi....yes
He needs a few results again....will the Suzuki let him do it...?
I hope so.

It's good news that he's still about smile
But bad news that he's not going to Kwak, they could have really used his experience to sort their bike out some more.

Loris's head went funny after his kid was born, happened same time as they went to 800's so was even harder to adapt for him.

I'm glad he's gone to Suzuki. The GSV-R seems very competitive this season - more so than the Kwaks - so hopefully the input of Loris will make it a real challenger for 2008.
