4 weeks ago I treated myself to a 54 plate Honda Blackbird as a work mate was emigrating and had left selling his pride and joy to the last minute (so I got it for a very good price).
Here she is......

I was very impressed by how easy it was to ride. Silky smooth, never ending power delivery, great handling, fantastic build quality etc etc. However, it was coming up for its first MOT and was going to need a 12K service, and before long a pair of tyres. I just happened to visit Fowlers in Bristol last week to check out the cost of these items, and there, gleaming in the new Honda showroom, was a rather tasty, pre reg, brand spanking new one, zero miles, in two tone grey and silver. Got chatting, they worked out a deal that would have been rude to refuse, and I picked her up on Saturday. Here she is.........

I'm very, very pleased with the bike, and very impressed with salesman Dan and team Honda at Fowlers. Cheers guys.

Thanks for the replies guys.
I let the panniers go with the old one as they are the wrong colour for the new bike. I have ordered new ones though and they come in a GT pack which includes the mounting kit, carbon look dash panel and headstock cover. I also bought the carbon look fuel lid cover and tank front cover and a carbon look hugger. I kept the baglux cover and bag, and the stainless covers for the brake and clutch reservoirs off the old bike, so all in all, I really am a sad victim of bling!!! I think I have added about 20 kilos of go slower goodies. Is there any help for me?!?

Oh and I have ordered front and rear fender extenders as well, but just in plain black as I was getting concerned about my carbon contribution!!
