I'm doing the forkseals on my RF later. just checked the manual ive got for it & it states suzuki fork oil #10. anyone know what that is in 'real oil' as im obviously not going to get suzuki oil for an old bike.
Its the grade of oil in the forks.By putting in a higher grade(thicker oil i think)you can make the forks softer or harder.At least i think thats how it works.
yeah i know its the grade of oil. its just that oil is typical 10w or 20w sort of thing when buying fork oil not '#10' ive got 10w & will see how it goes. if i dont like the handling i can always change the oil again, its not too expensive.
