Apparently the opening round of next year's MotoGP championship at Qatar will be a night race held under floodlights....
So much for carbon footprint!

Makes a lot of sense. I worked in Qatar for 6 months, and daytime temperatures are bad enough in light-weight overalls. Full leathers must be unbearable.

OP; you weren't serious about that 'carbon footprint' comment, were you?
