840 miles on a 916

Rode down to Brighton at the weekend, 420 miles on Friday and 420 miles return yesterday. Me on my 916 and 2 mates on a R1 and a 1200 Bandit.

Absolutely wonderful weekend, weather was excellent on Saturday for the Speed Trials and almost as hot on Sunday for the Ace run.
Lost count of the number of bikes (as if I tried) but would make a conservative guess of 8000. Stood watching them turn up on the prom, bike after bike for 1 3/4 hours. Bikes of every shape and size (or would that be riders)
Most popular bike----Harley.

Plenty of and Ace cafe entertainment was well worth watching. Even got the old body jiggling to the beat

Who said Ducati's are uncomfertable-loved every minute of it. Looking to book a Hotel for next year, well worth the trip

Yep see my thread mate. Was there with Podman and Fozie, can't upload the photos but superb day me and Fozie went down on the 996's had to stop at Gatwick to stretch my back off mind!

Podman on the Busa was taking the P*ss due to the Suzuki comfort!
