Chaps,
I've started looking for a bargain helmet and was going to wait until the NEC show later on this year. However I've just come across this website and the Arai Corsairs seem to be very good value. I was just wondering if anyone else has used them.

Also any other ideas on sourcing a cheap Arai, its proving especially difficult as I'm not keen on race reps.

Thanks,

Phill

Cheers, just tried that and the Arai Corsairs are full price £499. Worth a try though.

Smiler.

There are usually the previous years race reps for around £360 at the shows. Dunno about single colours.

J&S have got single colour Corsairs for £399 http://www.jsaccessories.co.uk/hermes/shop/13,1,10...

My Arai lid, which i bought from Bikers World in daventry , was cheaper than these guys...as was J&S in Watford, I chose Bikers World purely because it was nearer.Worth a couple of calls...

I bought my Arai Astro R from these guys two years ago and had no problems with them or the lid.

Well, had to get a new helmet after getting knocked off. Bought a Arai Viper GT from this bunch.

Great price, great service.

Try here for a review on lids.

I bought a Arai Astro R on the back of the 'big book of kit' Though the Corsair is the new version - so i was told while looking to buy one - and is better if your going on the track.

Got mine from Shorrocks Motorcycles Preston, they do deals on the ticket price which is rare these days.

Bought my astro R from the BMF for £200, you really do need to try before you buy.

Better deal than me I paid 290 in April with a lid bag and separate black visor.

Was plain black and the black visor cost me £25, that was a couple of years ago. It is quite a bit nosier than my old Arai Giga even though that lid was 10 years old.

Though I didn't buy my Arai Rx7 from them but I've had stuff from these guys in the past and the service and prices have been good.

Scary stuff, you don't ride a 2005 R1 by chance?

That would be freaky, but no, I ride a 96 CBR600FT.

You don't drive an Elise too?
