Booked my first trackday

Well I was at work and bored, thought I would have a look at a few... am now booked in for a trackday at Brands Indy for 1st Oct. Am going to use the schools bike (using focused events's R6) as it is my first trackday, have only been riding since July and didn't want to trash mine. Am a bit nervous, but looking forwards to it

Cool. Sounds brilliant . I passed in August and am looking to do something similar but will probbaly wait till spring next year to get out there. Would like to know how you got on. How much was it to use their bike?

I did my first track day at Cadwell Park a few weeks ago and LOVED it!

Learn't a few new skills ... wheelied over the mountain ... left knee down for the first time.

Just build your speed up nice and steady through the day and always ride within your limits and you'll be fine!

Cost is £210 for their bike, £500 excess if I bin it though. Ah well, cheaper than my bike would cost if I binned that

very true, although for me it would probably not be a bad idea as it might mean I do not do something stupid..... Otherwise it does not seem too steep for what I am sure will be an excellent time. Have fun.

You'll absolutely love it! Just think of all those things you wanna try, but can't really on the road.
