Hi I am ditching my 182 Trophy in March 08 in order to get a bike and was hoping that I could get some advice!

1. Any regular meets in Newcastle area?
2. Who is cheap to insure with?
3. What bike? Really fancy an R6 1999 -2003 is there any other bikes I should consider?

Cheers Chris

Hi Chris.

I know a few of the lads meet at Westgate road on a Saturday about 12, I can usually be found at Rothbury on a Sunday with the lads.

Most of us are mid 40s early 50s and have been riding bikes since we were 16. I'll be off the road soon, for the winter (DIY season)

For Insurance I would try motorcycle news and take it from there.

I Wouldn't dismiss any of the 600cc sports bikes from 2003 onwards as they are all pretty much the same, year for year.

John.
