I've just split up with the mrs. She wouldn't entertain the idea of me getting an R1....so sorry, she had to go. Put your foot down man. Leave her, leave the kids, sod the dog.........

My missus hates me riding but I was such a miserable f*cker after a commute home on the tube/train and such a happy bunny after a ride home she can't tell me to go back to the trains!! yipee
I also showed her a new BM *cough* W K1200S that I have my eye on ('coz my commute really needs a mile munching tourer ) and she thought it was gorgeous and I should go and buy one as soon as I can afford it (which is the problem at the mo' I'm skint )

My missus must have gone to the same school as your missus! This May we went to the BMF Show and I was talking about possibly getting a new bike. (I have been talking about it for the last 2 yeas!) "Well" she said, "show me the options!"

I showed her a 'Blade, an R1, a Blackbird, a 'Busa, an R1200S and a K1200S. She sat on them all and said "That's the one you're having" to the K1200S, "no debate!!". So my winter task is to get a good K1200S sorted ready for next spring!

Go for a '98 (G model onwards) ZX6R and you've got cheap speed, comfort and style.
