Anyone know if helicopter rides operate over the weekend. I'm planning going on saturday for the qualifying & have promised the missus a chopper ride (fnar fnar) for her birthday.

Just turn up - I'm sure there'll be plenty at the gate as long as you aren't there too late in the morning

I don't think the racing starts that early for BSB (unlike WSB) so I'd say 10.00am should be fine...errr...but don't hold me to that regarding ticket availability
I went last year (sunday) & bought tickets on the gate & doubt I was there much before 9.00am IIRC there was a queue, but not like I'd expected
