Stoner quickest in FP1 with de Puniet well over a second behind him and Rossi 2.288s behind him.
FP2 wasn't quite as smooth and despite Stoner being the only rider not to top his own FP1 time, he still led the field despite 'doing a Chilli' near the end of the session.

Chaz had problems during qualifying, his bike was in the pits more than out with the fairings off, but when he managed to do a lap he was always going quicker, just had time at the end to put on a qualifying tyre and just 2/10th off Vermeulen and ahead of Elias.
