Ahh.. PERFECT riding weather today. Been out and about all morning and a few hours this afternoon just enjoying riding. No destination, no worries, no traffic (none that I could not ride by anyhow)... just perfect. A day invented for bikes.

Whoever created the weather today.... THANK YOU smile

Sure was a good day. The one thing I noticed was the lack of wind. Don't know about you guys but in the Midlands it seems to have been windy for about 6 months!
Not good when you are lining up going into a bend and then a side wind hits you raising or lowering your lean angle! yikes

I went out today, lovely, but I am still restricted to the 6,000 rpm run in period, now 68 miles on the clock, roll on the first service :-)

We had a lovely day here, a load of Ducatis turned up at Rothbury for some sort of meet. I heard that they had come from as far afield as Blackpool and Scotland. Kielder was full and the roads around Kielder were chocker with bikes.

That's it for me for this year, I'm a bit fed up with it all, quite looking forward to the next Five months without bikes.

68 miles on the clock? Think I did that in the first 2 hours of getting my bike!

Not bad in Glasgow, shame I was working, but the longer ride too and from was made the most of anyway. Noticed the roads are turning into that greasy manky mess that puts the willies up you all winter; endeavoured to make the most of the dry clean tarmac whilst we still have it! smile

I was out on mine yesterday. Felt fantastic. Relatively quiet roads and only the occasional car to overtake. I'm taking thursday and friday off if anyone fancies a ride out!

To think people put their bikes away for winter almost a month back for some! It was 18degrees today just outside London!

And the other great reason to have a bike was experienced by me today. Had a 9:20 appointment at the dental surgery.. left at 8:45 in the car only to find roads snarled up everywhere. Quick trip back to my house and by 9:00 was on the bike. Made it with 5 mins to spare. Bloody awesome!!!!
