I don't know what is worse, dumping your bike in front of the dealers showroom or putting you actions on youtube for all to see.

Inevitable really......

Man buys new bike, asks friend to film him pick it up from the showroom. 'Oooohhh look at my fast new bike'.....quick flick of the wrist

......my helmet is steaming up with the tears!!

Feel sorry for the guy, but I bet he learnt his lesson

Oh no, this is Suzuki Frankfurt, my hometown............yikes ,
don´t know the guy, but he has my sympathy.
I can only estimate what went wrong there :
Diesel on parking lot (as somehow suggested in clip title)
cleanser/WD 40 on new bike, including tyre
mould wax still on the tyre surface.
When I was a H-D mechanic in Frankfurt,
I always did a nice, torquey burnout (low revs) with the new bike/tyre
before I did the final test ride, before the owner got it.
With the customers there being a lot of "born-again bikers",
or fashion victims who "need a Harley quick, my friends all have one",
only few had the knowledge how a tyre is made,
so I better made sure the clip situation didn´t happen.

Granted a lot of sports bike riders are on machines way above their ability and have a sports bike more as an image thing...but new tyres are slippery.

I wonder if there are any statistics on the number of bike crashes directly outside the tyre garage?
