Instructors in the kidderminster area?
Discussion
Does anyone have any experience of anyone they would recommend.. I think its finally about time I get my bike licence... considering I was a junior trials champion and might of ridden lots of bikes on the road in my youth :ahem:
I assume these days i need to do the full
CBT
theory test
practical test
and that there is no short cut for car drivers anymore?
Im probably looking to sort the CBT, and then possibly a day a week of instruction and the das test..
not sure If i'll actually bother getting a bike... but its something I've felt i should always have done..
I need to do it reasonably covertly as the missus would kill me....
cheers

p.s. if I do get a bike I fancy a ducati Monster...
It cant be very quick as it doesnt have a faring

Hi Graham.
Nice to hear you are going to jump onto two wheels again.
My lady did her CBT direct access earlier this year in Stafford so a bit away from Kiddy. Most of the instructors there were very good (except the one that ran into the back of her!)
It may not apply to you as you have ridden bikes before but the school that Ruth went to only had this small area in front of their industrial unit for the riders to practice on before going out on the open road for the first time. I thought that they would have a large tarmac area for them to practice on so that was a bit poor and something to check out before you choose what training centre you use.
On a side note we are looking at a sports bike along with the ZRX1100 and Harley 1584 we have. Went to CMC in Cannock today and Ruth had a sit on a R1 to see if she likes the sports bike feel. The sales guy was talking about Dukes and said that they go hell for leather and handle well but are the most uncomfortable sports bikes you will ever ride so have a few test rides on other sports bikes before you commit to a 10K purchase! The R1 felt lite as a feather but we are looking at GSXR1000's to be honest.
Hope you are okay.
