What a cracking day. Brilliant sunshine, not a cloud in the sky, and the Gixer was excellent, although very light on the front quite often. Was tasked with learning to hang off the bike, and was doing so pretty well! That was until hammering down the back straight, I was so pre-occupied with nailing the anchors, kicking down a few elbowing a couple of wallies outta the way that I actually leant off the bike to the right for a left hander!!! Still, you live and learn. Was having a great battle with a gixer 1000, and there was hardly anyting in it. Down the back straight he was lucky to pull out 5 yards...but this was sorted under braking.
I also got hit. Quite scary when somone tips in straight on top of you. Fecking idiot. I think it was his bars, or fairing that hit my leg, but a little wobble and that was it...just don't need iot!
Oh, and then came the shoocker. We were in the inters, and there were 3 guys who were that much quicker than us. Two of them went, but the third struggled to get by. Eventually he did but he was too quick, I guess trying to catch his mates up. Anyway, he does all of us under the brakes, and cracks on. Two corners later, there he is unconscious in the middle of the track. All his limbs were twisted, and I felt sick. Wanted to stop and help but you're not allowed. Red flag and everyone in. Made a mark on me, cause I took it easy after that.
Corsa 3's were good. Cut up easily, but didn't feel too many wobbles getting on the gas.

I wish I had been there! Sounds like it would have been perfect.
I am sorry to hear there was an injury, I hope it was not too serious.

Mate, the accident left me feeling sick. I really wanted to stop, but you just can't. Couldn't stop thinking about him after that...hope he was ok.

Sounds as though you're getting to grips with the bike Chilli, I also always feel like stopping when I see anyone fall off, hope the guy was OK.
Now, are you gonna come out with us lott next year.
John.
Getting there. I've decided to get a track day bike, you know spend a couple of grand on an old 750 or something, that way I'll be able to push a bit harder, and won't care if I come off, whereas I'm very careful not to push it on the Gixer. Now, are you gonna come out with us lott next year.

John.
So do I...horrible thing to see.
Yeah, I'll deffo make the journey to see how it's should be done!
Cheers.
