I just had a call from a mate who binned his bike last night. Sounds like too many beans on cold tyres. He is ok apart from bruised hip - but apparently fairing and basically all down left side is trashed.

He has asked me if I know of the best (read cheapest) places to pick up spare plastics for a ZX6r (it is either 05 or 06). I have no idea - but thought I would post here.

If it was either of my bikes I would be on The Bandit Forum or Gixer.com looking at classifieds, and posting questions- what is the best for a Kwak?

Thanks

I'd have thought ebay. If he's lucky he'll find someone who has dropped the same bike on the other side.

I meant to put "have already suggested ebay" - SteveT got in there before I edited!

A part search web-site ... they contact lots of dealers and they dont cost a £1 a minute like they used to.

Ive used the service twice and picked up some 6-pot Tokicos and also a car gear box, both high on quality and low end on price.
