Probably on BBC 3.

Personally I thought CB was a bit of a prat.

Programme was interesting though.

I agree, fancy shouting 'bomb' in a UK airport, was there not a woman last year who did that at Leeds airport go through the courts?

I liked the programme, but I can't help feeling that if I watched the "Long Way Round" DVD again it would have been no different...

More to the point, couldn't he find a better-looking wife? He's Ewan McGregor for god's sake! biggrin

I agree with that too, I can't beleive Ewan even considered it... She has never been on a bike before, and may well mess up the atmosphere of the trip, so if I were Ewan I would ask her to let us get on with the trip, we'll tour Scotland when I get back.

Agree with the above posts, a very selfish move on Ewan's part - the whole point is it's a lads adventure; if I were in Charley's position here i'd have handed her the keys to the BM and told them to go on their own.

Jesus that last post was a bit strong.

I really enjoyed the long way round and i'm probably going to enjoy the long way down.

I really disliked Ewan Mcgregor before long way round. As i continued to watch i realised he and charley are real down to earth guys.

I agree that Ewan's wife should keep her nose out though, these women want to ruin all our fun ey!!

IMHO i think this is inspiring for me personally, theres a whole big world out there to be seen and explored...

It is a bit harsh!!!!

I watched this the other day, Didn't see Long way round, heard loads about it but never actually saw it, Thought i would record this as it was after top gear.

Good show, would be a great journey to explore. Can understand Ewan's predicament if the wife says she wants to come then you have to leave it to her, maybe he was hoping she would see sense. Although I would have expected Charlie to turn round to say she will be a liability on the journey.
