Is it Road Legal?

Hi all,

I am assuming that there are some custom bulders, on here.

I recently purchased a Honda ATC 125 (circa 1985), which I was going to move around with my Landy. Looking on fleabay I noticed that there is a road legal one.

Does anyone know how I go about getting it road legal? What standards, etc do I need to follow?

Ring your local SVA testing station, it's a bit like an MOT testing station, but they check to make sure that it will conform with all UK regulations.

After that it'll be off to your local Vehicle licencing centre, where you'll get an authorisation letter for a number plate.

That's more or less it, I think, it's been so long since I've done anything like it, but start at the SVA testing station.

Have a look on the Government Transport site and take it from there.
