My bike was stolen...
Discussion
on Friday night but it wasn't until I was halfway through lunch today looking at the view from the window when I realised it was missing two wheels. Phoned the police and insurance, got the expected lack of interest however I was slightly embarressed it took me until today to realise it had gone!
Real distress about having to use public transport tomorrow but at least the car is at work so that is some consolation. More on the way (consolation that is) as autotrader has been much used too!
Thinking about an older blackbird, zzr1200 or even just a newer gsx750. Already looking forward to the test rides next weekend! Alot will depend on the insurance payout though.
I have kept a record of the costs of the old girl on p'heads and I will update them when I speak to the insurance but it had been a pretty cheap year of biking. I am guessing there will be hefty hike in insurance premiums?
It also just goes to show disclocks and chains will not deter some one if they are determined!!
