Almeria 3rd - 5th May 2008.

Just booked this today, there's a few of us going.(Nine I think)

First 25 to book pay £599, after that £699.

Hottrax are running this, and it includes flights and Hotel(all inclusive).

Anyone from here going.

Yes, went with them to Almeria last year too.

We are taking the family for some sun. In summary:

1) Bloody hot if last year is anything to go by (30+ each day)

2) Fantastic scenery/location for the track, up in the hills

3) Awesome track, quite technical and quite fast - very physical and equally unforgiving, typical spanish circuit with lots of off-camber, blind crests. Quite a few DNF the week due to scenery excursions.

4) Almeria town (about 30 mins away from the track) is not that much to write home about. Mojacar slightly further along the cost is a much better spot to visit for drinks/dinner etc if you want to venture from the hotels.

5) Backstraight at the track is mind blowing !

125? Ask him if I can have a go of it. I'm really looking forward to it, it'll make a change from being cold or wet in the UK.

I'm taking the 600, I'm to old to wrestle that R1 round track, tell your young'un to come and say hello.
