Well, seeing as i can't drive a car (and i'm still not quite legal for a 50 - 2 months) i have brought my 5th motorbike, this time it's road legal, and nope, not a normal chav estate scooter, but a cagiva cocis (not a very well known bike i understand)
But it has 3 gears (whih is weird - most are 5/6)
But it goes well enough (45ish)

It is the lucky explorer, so is in the Lucky Strike colours. Looks ok. It's an 03, RUSTED TO FCUK! don't even ask, no idea in the world, but engne ad gearbx is very strong, only done 8000KM.

Will get pic's up tommorow if i remember.

Same as that, but that's a 125, and has lucky explorer on the seat.

Welcome. I'm only old enough for a 50 as well although mines an (automatic) Gilera DNA. I did want a geared bike but it was looking difficult to find a good one for the right money and insuring them was expensive. I think only having 3 gears will be better than having 6 because most of the geared 50's I see are always up and down the 'box. My bike will only do 50 on the flat but once had 64 (clock speed) down a very big hill. All good fun but be careful. Only had one accident so far where a car drove into the side of me. Good luck.
