Chaps,
I've got a pin lock visor insert. Last night I had to ride along strches of unlit motorway and roads in the dark.

I found the reflection of oncoming light so be a real pain. Is this a common problem or is it just me?

My old clear visor with fog city was like this. I've just replaced it with a new clear vior and pinlock and it's fine now. The glare was from scratches on the either visor or anti-fog layer.

Both the visor and the pinlock are almost brand new, although they have been cleaned a couple of times.

They're very (annoyingly) easy to scratch. I used a paper towel in the office to clean my newly fitted fog city recently - it felt soft enough, there's bloody scratches everywhere now. You don't notice when you look through it in the day, but I do get the flaring at night.

Same experiences here I'm afraid. Get a glasses cleaner cloth from the opticians and use that.

Something you'll have to get used to I'm afraid, it does spoil the optical properties of the visor even from new at night. To be honest in the current temps you'll still see more with it than without if you're doing town work.

I use Autoglym car polish on mine which seems to get rid of the tiny scratches + RainX to help clear the rain/fog.
