Brake Levers - Help!
Discussion
This morning i came out of my house to find my bike on the side with the remenants of the front brake lever on the floor
It seems he wind and the gods didnt want me to ride to work today...
It's a 2003, GS500 and i've just bought a new break lever which i'm hoping to fit when i get back home after work.
The only problem is that i've never done any kind of maintenance to a bike before and i want to know any tips from anyone who has had to do this before and if its harder to do when the levers are adjustable?
Thanks!

It's usually a 5 minute job. You'll normally need a couple of 10mm spanners, undo the lever by removing the (10mm) nut and bolt, fit the new one, job done
You may find that the lever is now in a different position as the reservior/lever clamp has moved when the bike fell over, so you may need to loosen and re-tighten this too. Usually an 8mm bolt
