Deposit on Speed triple put down

Yup sorted out getting my name down for the 08 speed triple. don't have to worry too much about extra's at the moment but got a flyscreen and bellypan put in the deal for nothing.

first ever car/bike i have bought new. But will miss the Fazer. been a great first bike and really enjoyed the last year on it

don't fancy going from a fazer to a similer BHP new bike. i'm not small so think the extra power would be great. and was very impressed with the test ride. also it seems everyone wants the street triple but I have loved the looks of the speed since I first saw it back in 2005

what mods have you do so far??

I know the PC3 is not avalible for the 07 bike at the moment

Seriously tho'- i was looking at used '05 plater Speed Trip in local Kwack/Yam dealer just yesterday. It fitted nice but a bit dear at £6200 I thought. I'm still not 100% sure about the twin bug-eyed front on this and Street T. If Triumph offered slightly different lights I'd probably jump at the chance.

If you're buying used out and out of factory warrenty, why let a head light issue be the only thing stopping you buying the bike..?
It's not as if you can't swap them for a single unit if you really wanted to, after all, look at all the streetfighter style bikes that have had single lights swapped to twins to look like a Speed Trip....
I think the twin lights is one of the main things that sets the Speed Trip's and Street Trip's apart from the other bikes in their class, styling wise.

I'd probably take a headlamp from an MT-03 and stick it on... I dont go for bugeyes either...

Umm.. The venture shield stuff, and umm...

Nope that's it, I haven't even fecked about with the suspension! I've cleaned it a lot....

I was going to fit some nice cans but the ones I like are about 800 quid and the intake roar is pretty addictive anyway.

I know and I could have had the 07 model now But I do enjoy riding in the warm dry weather. I know. but after riding throught last winter and then finding how much more fun it was to ride in the summer. plus as I have said, I got a spare car and not far to travel
