I have been an advocate of Michelin Pilot Power 2CT's since they were launched, but I really need something that lasts a bit longer on my R1 commuter wink, so I changed to the Road Pilot 2's last thursday and I can say they are very good especially in the wet, can't really comment as yet on dry surfaces as it hasn't stopped raining, but first impressions are a big thumbup

I've had mine for a while now and they're damn good commuting tyres. Love them on the Falco, as you say, fantastic in the wet and very good in the dry. I need to get some new tyres on the SV and I'm thinking either another set of these, or Pirelli Diablo Rossos. I see there's an 016 from Bridgestone out too. Hmmmm scratchchin

Can you keep us posted please. I have the 2cts on the blade and would like a bit more life for the commute. Cheers.

Will do mate, I've raved about the 2CT's and will be keeping them on the Ducati but for the commuter I reckon these will be fine.

The weather looks dry outside so I'll give the Road Pilots a good going over on the way home.

I'm going back to the 2ct's asap. I'm sure the Corsa 3's are excellent, but.....dunno, just have more confidence with the 2ct's.

Had them on the 600, put them on the FZ1 in October, barely a dry day since and I've lit the back up a few times. The front is getting a bit tetchy over catseyes now but I suppose that's to be expected. Road was pretty much dry on Friday morning, had great fun terrorising the commuting traffic. smile

So long as they last until the beginning of May I'll be happy.

Even though it was rather cold this morning, I can say the Road Pilot 2's are a very good dry weather tyre and I can say I am rather impressed with them. Ultimately the Pilot Power 2CT's would give more grip but for the commute the Road Pilot 2's are top notch and worthy of a big thumbup

Cheers,

Andy

Not sure if the Pilot Road 2CT's (as opposed to the Pilot Power 2CT's) are what you're talking about but I have these on my ZX6R and they are absolutely fantastic, great in the dry and incredible in the wet and slippery roads right now. They replaced the OEM BT015's (same as BT014's I think) and the difference was fantastic, made the bike more stable, less jittery and far more sure footed on the road, gives me a lot more confidence.
