Told ya it would be a long old wait!
If you want, you can pop round and clean mine if you like. Then we can sit on it and make screaming engine noises...You could even throw some branches at me if it would make you feel better??!

I probably wasn't paying attention I'm assuming the fazer went as part of the deal for the new triumph?
Personally I'd have kept the fazer until the new bike arrived in march but then loosing a few hundred here and there in trade in difference wouldn't bother me.

Buy yourself something cheap, if I had a garage (which I don't) I'd go and pick myself up a nice DRZ-400 for no more than 2k. I was looking at them on autotrader again last night.

yup fazer waas chooped in for the Triple. I would be using the car for commuting in the winter. I got a car and a bike and after ridign throught last winter. can't see why I would pick the bike in crap weather, cold etc... when I don't commute far.

So just thought for the sake of the bike my fingers i would chop it in now. if I had room and the money I would but a cheap winter hack.

ah well PH's is sort of keeping me sane

Sorry.. but I can't help it...

So glad to be back on the road. Who cares about frostbite? I've taken to grabbing the exhaust at every set of lights until payday when I can get some heated grips and muffs!

Not much snow, but night time temps are below zero most nights and the gritters are out in force. Im not that bothered about getting cold or wet on the bike i just do not want it covered in salt and have to clean it every day. Whats the point when i have a car anyway, the bike is a toy not a mode of transport for me.

You'll appreciate it all the more when it does arrive mate! I took mine out at the weekend, after 6 weeks of driving a diesel Fiesta - you can't fully appreciate a fast bike until you've spent 6 weeks in a diesel Fiesta! LOL
