QUAD BIKES: Fun & Commuting

Hey

I was wondering if there are any quad owners here?

I been looking at them recently and im thinking of getting one.

What are they like to ride/drive?

What are the main things to consider?

Does anyone commute on them? and can you use them on the motorway?

Any Info would be great

ive had a couple, currently have a 200single 4 stroke road legal for fu.

great laugh, dont expect speed, they are about fun and getting dirty and all your laughs will be under 50mph. top speed on the road is around 55 to 60 and you wont want to do it for long trust me lol

but a good laugh none the less.

mine newest one is a few weeks old and i paid less than a grand on the road for it

Never owned one but I wouldn't bother with one for commuting. Like a car without a roof so your still gonna get cold and wet and you cant filter either.

Agreed, except you can't wheelie a car or take it on 2 wheels (easily) in a bend.

Seriously though I wouldn't commute on one but they can be great fun.
