A few years ago my mate was walking along the sea front at Bournemouth, having just parked his bike and some guy asked him what the water was like.

he thought my mate was still wearing a wet suit!

Do you get hot in summer wearing black? I'm looking for my first set and planning a Europe trip but don't fancy a sweaty crack for 2 weeks angel

only when i stop. plently of draft last summer to be comfy on the move. most leathers seem to have vents for airflow anyway, so its not too bad.
im half planning europe too but what with moving & a new career it might not happen.
oh & do i do the alps or go up the sweden etc to nordkapp?

I remember being at the superbikes at Snetterton a few years ago and my Dad pointing at someone with a 'speedhump' and saying "cor, he's lucky he can find leathers that him fit with a hump like that..."

Should point out it was tongue in cheek!

might take you two up on that. as i found essex to about fort william was enough in a day. oddly the time before i went up in a discovery & found aberdeen was a days drive.
ETA: mind you i did motorways in the disco & some nicer roads on the bike.
