50 CC bikes/mopeds

as i have found out u are allowed to drive a 50cc scooter/moped at the age of 16 ... i was wandering if this also means u could drive a 50cc off road bike or any other 50cc motorcycle??

I think all 50s are classed as mopeds/scooters even if they have gears/clutch & look like a motorcycle, aslong as they're restricted to 30mph

Go have a look at the dvla website - think it's www.dvla.gov.uk

basicly yes. get your CBT & you can ride anything upto 50cc. if your going for gears tell the CBT place when you book, a moped cbt is legal on a geared bike. but i cant see any point in not getting the instruction for riding with gears, after all its the same price for either.
