Would I need one on the triple?

Any benefits on having one, or drawbacks?

If worth looking into what do people recommened? and why

Can't comment on your bike, but I've been told that when I take mine to have the suspension set up properly, the guy will take it off and bin it! Bit harsh I thought!!

Remal, afraid the only people who can tell you whether its worth having one will be owners, who have taken them off, and suffered or not suffered tank slappers smile You might want to PM young Frik, see what he thinks though, as he may have some feedback.

Chilli, I presume your suspension chappie is saying that the bike is good enough without?

Definately speak to owners that have tried with and without, better yet if you can, try for yourself. I fitted one to my R1 and it's helped out a fair bit. Also had one on my '99 R6 which always seemed to have a flighty front end. Test rode a '07 R6 last summer and didn't feel that it needed one.

from what I have read seem's most speed triple owners find them handy as the front likes to wobble a bit. but then others say the geometry is good and have not bothered.

me thinks I need to try for myself

I had one on my speedtriple (04) when I bought it, took it off straight away as it felt intrusive when riding slowly, never had any problems with the front end, they are very stable.
