So far I've done Silverstone, Donnington, Castle Combe (hated it) and Mallory. I was thinking Cadwell looks fun albeit a bloody long way oop north for me... What are you fav tracks and why?
Edited to add: Need something to look forward to, this Sh*tty british weather is getting me down!

How about Jerez?! £600 with focussed events in April!!!
In April I will be mostly sitting on my ass on a beach in Borneo
But I do fancy one of these foreign track day jaunts. Did you find you were knackered after 3 days of riding on track? Maybe I'm unfit (actually no maybe about it) but even after one day in the UK I am frazzled !
I love Cadwell. Some racers claim it is a technical circuit, but I've never been able to understand. Maybe it is when you are wizzing round at their speeds.
A very enjoyable circuit, but like you, its just a little far to be travelling.
I hope to race there later this year in the Bemsee races on a 250LC.
Should be fun.

otherwise I was going to say Castle combe but you don't like it( WHY) not that I have done it on a bike.
How's about Anglesey

Cadwell is fantastic.
It's a good surface (improved much in 07), has slow more technical corners and plenty of big balls sweepers plus a couple of straight bits and of course it has the mountain, which is pretty unique and quite a challenge (just don't search 'Camier', 'Mountain', 'Cadwell' on youtube
).
It's also got a huge amount of ups and downs in it too.
Local roads are also a hoot if you're prepared to take your time getting there.

Yeah, the trip was 4 days, and I only went out a few times on day 4. 3 bottles of red the night before didn't help, but yeah, I was knacked!
Hi guys,
new to forum so hello.
Out of the tracks I know in the UK Oulton park is the standout one by a country mile. Fast corners, slow corners, chcianes, blind entry, hills, woodland section the lot. It takes a little bit of time to learn but it is good and reasonably safe.
my 5 cents
