First decent ride of 2008

I left work this afternoon at 4pm...The sun was shining, it was almost warm and the roads were dry.
What a thoroughly brilliant ride home. I decided to pull off the Mway and head home on the back roads and it was wonderful.

Really gave me a buzz and got rid of the winter blues.

Looks good for the next few days too

Typical the weekend I'm in to work and it's going to be dry. No doubt it'll chuck it down with rain the week I'm off.

I'm working now and am in til 0700. But i will be up ny 1100 so that i can go for a blat, and a run aover to PDQ to discuss the mods i want.

It was actually nice enough today that i discarded the balaclava as well! I was only really pootling about(ahem) so didn't get up to silly speeds, but it was very nice not to have to wear it.

Also discovered that, after checking & inflating my tires, my bike does actually handle and i have not lost the ability to ride properly
