Well, placed the order in November after a fantastic test ride. Came back with a massive grin permanently etched on my face! Problem is, the ongoing anticipation! (although I kind of enjoy it in a masochistic way as it'll make it all the sweeter when it finally does arrive).

I've still got to wait until May/June for mine - with all these dry sunny days we're having I'm itching to get it! Anyone else??

Wow over 6months to wait for one to arrive. I wonder if Triumph can keep up with demand??
I test rode a fully optioned up bike, it was great apart from the gel seat which I found uncomfortable are 1 hours solid test riding.
I still might consider one if I can try the standard seat and assuming I like it that I only have to wait a short amount of time for it.

I'm heading for a test ride next Saturday! There's a write up of the Street versus the Shiver in the latest edition of Bike and the Aprillia just doesn't come close. Hardly a surprise I know but I can't help keep reading every review anyway....

The one thing that I'm worried I won't like is it's lack of having anyway practical way of strapping on luggage. Yeah, I know you can put on a backpack and a tangbag but all the same, I'm used to doing a bit of touring for a few days at a time and it could make it quite difficult..

Anyway, we'll have to see what next Saturday has in store! lick

Ordered mines back in September for April delivery - getting really itchy feet now. There is a side of me to cancel the order and buy a Gixxer 600 for £3-4k as a first proper bike instead though.

Still not sure because the intention was to buy the Triple, run it for a bit then trade up to the Gixxer - but always fear I'd lose at least £2k come trading time scratchchin

The Triple is a stunning bike, sounds great, looks the dogs and sooo easy to ride though smile

if the street was out when I passed my DAS in 06 I would have done the same. great looking bike, but now I got some experance on bikes I have always loved the speed triple

as a first bike the street seems miles ahead of the rest
