Rode up to see the chillums in Hull this afternoon, from that Lunnon.
Set out in bright, crisp sunshine, which was lovely, and had a nice whizz along the M11, across the A14 and up towards Peterborough. All going swimmingly, until we look ahead, and the sky seemed to have turned purple. Uh oh...
Nice thick flumphy blizzard, which was fun until half an hour later, so once its over, I pull off, defrost with a nice big cup of coffee, refill, and wander on. Bit rainy, no biggies, but getting soggy. Which was really really useful as I came off the M62 over the top of the wolds, and met the rest of the snow
30mph seemed hideously fast, so apologies to the fricking 4x4 behind me, who seemed happy to provide wide area illumination..
Hands now defrosted, though I did impress myself with the range and timbre of the Tourettes as the frostbite receded

Got caught out in the snow yesterday. Was wiping my visor every few seconds and trying not to breath too often because of it steaming up. Still good fun when I got home and because the road hadn't been used I could get the bike a bit sideways (its a moped). Cold though.
Best biking gadget I've bought so far, Bob Heath visor wiper thingy. Makes life so much easier when its bucketing down
