provisional entitlement removed from lisence

i have the old type lisence

i had a provisional bike lisence when i passed my car test

however DVLA removed this from my lisence

am i covered to do CBT

or do i have to change my lisence????

I think you have two options;

1. Argue with DVLA about the missing entitlement on your license. Good luck! There have been people lose their HGV entitlement from their license!
2. Apply for it again.

You're not alone. If you have a copy of an old licence with the Cat A entitlement on it (i.e. photocopy of the back fo the old one) then it should be a simple matter, and be easily resolved.

As said, the easy way, and its not too much of an arseache given where you are in the process is to apply for a bike provisional.

The arrogance is so staggering that I find it difficult to find words that adequately express my utter contempt for this odious, self-important, lamentable, spiteful and infernal bureaucracy.
