Hi All,

Thinking of changing my bike for something a wee bit more sporty.

Does anyone know where the best place to look for used bike values ? Had a look on www.glass.co.uk but begrudge paying £4.

Bike is Suzuki SV650 Sport (Fully Faired)
2006 56 plate

Cheers,

Dave

Parkers or just have a look round eBay and bike trader and see what they are going for.

I've always found Parkers to be a bit optimistic on how much bikes are worth.

Best to have a look through all the selling ads you can find; ebay, mcn, biketrader, local ads etc and get a rough average from them.

Remember that everyone who is selling thinks their bike is worth more than you want to pay, and everyone who is buying wants to pay less than you think its worth; the trick is to meet somewhere in the middle so everyone feels they've got the best deal.

And don't be scared to haggle. wink

+1

the market place dictates the value...go through autotrader online and mcn online and see what they are fetching
