Not universally liked, but does anyone here rate them?
I certainly do, for some bikes.

Singles-plus the Aprilia 450/550 twins-are ideal for supermoto/motocross.

Many here refused to believe it, but my Husky SMR630 was one of the quickest 'a to b' road bikes i have ever ridden.
With scameras/traffic/the thought of going to jail/lousy road surfaces/etc keeping the number of times most of us go REALLY fast on the road, right down, nowadays, the SMR was a match for most superbikes, other than in a straight line.
The weight of an Aprilia 125 helped, as did 67 bhp at the rear wheel and the best brakes and suspension you can get.
biggrin
