Seems like quite a good idea.

Although there is a part of me that comes over all superstitious at the thought of pre-empting a stack!

Whoever thought of that is a bloody genius. Take the smallest usb pen drive you can buy, slap it in a custom case, call it the digital dogtag and flog it for 20 quid... seriously clever idea.

No, bit of paper in my wallet, job done... chances of whoever finds me knows what a digital dogtag is and has a laptop is small imo... I'd rather they didn't fk about and simply called an ambulance and let them get on with it.

Have the ambulance service said they can or even will read these ? I'd imagine there's a restriction on plugging random usb memory sticks or drives into a hospital computer....

what is wrong with one of the medi alert things, if you want dog tags you could always get a set of these.



It isn't a fashion accessory, they come in pairs one on a long chain and one on a short chain. If you are killed the short one goes around a toe or if that is missing clamped in your mouth and the other one goes off to confirm that you are killed in action.

Pretty morbid really and not really for hanging around your neck to look cool. Mine live in my drawer.
