The big smile for me was Jakub Smrz in the top ten for both races.
He's a good solid rider and looked really promising at times last year; I think he just needed a decent bike to start performing.
The other Czechs I'm watching for this year are Lukas Pesek and Karel Abraham in the 250's.
Pesek was outstanding on a slow 125 last year, and Abraham is still only about 17 and on his second year in 250's.
Met Abraham at Donnington last year, first in the crowd, then again just buzzing along the pavement on a scooter between the circuit and the airport. Both times he stopped and was friendly and chatty; what a nice lad!
