They import loads of second hand stuff from all over; Japan mostly.
Some of their stock is rare and exclusive japanese jewels, some of it is just rusty junk; you pays your money, you takes your choice...
They sell a lot of parallel import bikes new, bikes that are normally intended for other european countries.
As far as I know they always have the parallel bikes converted to uk spec (headlights, speedos etc) and give a good warranty with them.
They are generally not the cheapest out there, and obviously don't make much of a relationship with their customers; a bit like Tesco for bikes really.
I would generally recommend trying your local bike shop first (for local people...) as they are usually more keen on looking after the customer; they need you to come back again!

As far as I know they SOMETIMES have the parallel bikes converted to uk spec (headlights, speedos etc) and give a MOSTLY WORTHLESS warranty with them.

some people have horror stories about real death bikes.
go for it eyes open
I bought a pan euro from them, after about a week it had a nasty top end rattle/clatter so they collected it and repaired it(the exhaust was knackered to,they were going to put a s/h one on it until i pointed out that at over 5k i wanted a new one) i got the bike back running well, it took 6 weeks to find out what they did, nobody wanted to talkto me and the service manager was never available-they had put a s/h engine in, i protested that it was now not the vehicle i had bought and i had no idea how many miles were on it,they refused to say,i rejected the bike through the finance house(They thought DK were the best thing since sliced bread and i must be wrong)i got some advice and got a solicitor involved, they claimed to be in the right and citizens advice, the aa etc said they were wrong.
In the end i gave it back and accepted a payment that just coverd the finance as i was facing a major op and would not have a any strenght or time to carry on fighting to the orrect conculusion.
new bike should not be a problem, check what year it is and keep both eyes open.

Hi all
Has anyone used DK Motorcycles and are they any good? as i am looking for a new bike and there pricing seems very competitive.
Many thanks for you responses.
A friend of mine bought a new GSXR600 when they first came out (more years than I care to remember) and he had no problems with the bike or dealer, but that is many years ago, they were best known for parallel imports when they were popular.Has anyone used DK Motorcycles and are they any good? as i am looking for a new bike and there pricing seems very competitive.

we were there a few weeks back and looking to buy 2 new ZX-6 Rs. they're about £1000 cheaper than elsewhere and come with data tagging and a Cat 1 alarm.
we were told that kawasakis they have are UK bikes (the new ones) and the other makes are imports.
