i am thinking of changing my K5-1000 for the above, anyone got / had the Ducati 1100 or 1100s and want do you think !!!!
I think they look awesome, saw one in the flesh in France last year. I would suspect zero practicality and it only has 14l tank. However it depends on what you want it for.i am thinking of changing my K5-1000 for the above, anyone got / had the Ducati 1100 or 1100s and want do you think !!!!
As to the engine, I have a Multistrada which whilst its not as powerful (bhp) as a jap multi it has plenty of torque which makes it plenty quick enough in the real world. I think in the Hypomotard it should be sensational.
Had a test ride on one last year, a real hoot to ride. High speed stuff would be tough due to wind blast but maybe that's a plus point today
strong low-down torque and quite 'challenging' to keep the front wheel down, cornered well and was really good fun to ride. Riding position felt a little strange after a 916 as it felt like I was sitting on the bars but if I had the spare cash I'd buy one.
You know it makes sense

Sat on one and it's a lovely bike but small tank range and I couldn't reach the ground with both feet, so sadly not for me....
Crikey, you must be short....!I know a female rider that is only 5ft and a bit and managed her S version quite happily as her daily commute until a numpty Focus driver wrote it off......luckily not her as well.
