Bought another bike - GSXR1000K1

I don't post all that often, but some of you may remember I was after another bike to run with the Duke. I need something with a reasonable pillion seat. Well, I bought the GPZ1100A1 I always wanted. It was mint, low mileage, and I hated it! Just couldn't get on with it as I'm used to more modern machinery. So I sold it and bought this a few weeks ago. Low mileage, near mint condition, and a good price. Bought on ebay, and I'm well pleased with it, a fabulous bike that does everything I want. Already started "blinging" it up a bit with some anodised bits,screen, plate etc. Just can't help myself

what colour did you get?

It's annoying how some firewalls stop the pics, I get the same in work. You'll probably be able to see them at home. It's a red/silver/black one. I fancied a blue/white but this was such a good bike at a good price I couldn't say no. The colour has grown on me and I prefer it to the blue/white now anyway.

be careful where you put those anodised bolts ,no high load areas and put loads of copperslip on them if you must have them they rot like mad .personally i prefer stainless.

I must admit I still have a soft spot for the K1 even although I now have a K7 and had a K4 in between.

No worries there, I know about that. Screen and fuel filler bolts only. Anodised bits I meant was levers and heel plates really. I want to maximise the red of the bike basically 'cos I don't really like black.
