Well after finally getting my tax I decided to take it out for a spin.

Initial thoughts are that the engine is absolutely glorious, a realmetallic snarl which starts at about 5500rpm and just gets better and better, I haven't used full throttle yet though and only took it to 11000rpm. The grip at theback is far more than I expectedon a cold day with a brandnew tyre, you can feel far more of what is going on than the Bandit I passedmy test on, very confidence inspiring for a new rider like myself. The brakes are crap though, easy to modulate but they just don't seem to have much power at all.

The ride was the most fun i've had on the road though in my entire life, 60mph was grin inducing round some gentle sweepers, a hard run in 3rd was a genuine rush and the mechanical feel of changing gear, the brakes, throttle etc was a breath of fresh air!

The only problem I had was my back protector was riding up and making holding my head upright a bit of a chore, so the one in the jacket is now gone and i'll have to hunt for a new seperate one.

The toy after it's first ride.

Well I dropped it for the first time, oopsey.

Popped it on the drive ready for a ride, it slippedoff the concrete and hit the stones letting it topple over. I bravely jumped out the way though andit punched the fixing out of the top of the fairing, otherwise no damage, will fix it now.

Surprisingly pleased I got my first drop out the way as it was by myself with no audience.

I do feel like a prize tt though haha.

Another ride taken place, loving it even more!
