Theory Test - How long does it take

Just been looking at booking my theory test in prep for my DAS, how long does it take? Do I need to take the morning off ? or can I get away with slipping in work later?

It was 45 min job when I did mine some years ago. It might be longer with the hazard perception stuff in there now.

Allow an hour, should be done within it but certainly should not take more.

Hazard perception takes ages. the other part shouldn't take long at all, did mine in 15 mins or so.

i think its about an hour if you take the full time, i doubt many people take the full time on the theory part though.
if you can DO turn up early, i did mine about an hour early that way. It wasnt in my local area so i wasnt sure how long it'd take to get there etc etc. i was home by the time i expected to be leaving the place.

I'd finshed in about 25 minutes I think, didn't seem long.
