Whilst I agree with you - I think you will find it is a 50/50 opinion split on this bike!

I am thinking about one of these, something a bit different, dealers should now have them in and running demos from next week. Its going to be either the RC8 or a 999 cant decide yet.

I wasn't sure at first but as more pics and vids have come out i've fallen in love!

I really buy into the brand too. Its quality, not flashy and the bikes are rare enough that most people would think a superduke/rc8 had just landed from another planet.

A Superduke is top of my list of really nice things that I might just be able to own in the next few years. Just have to deal with going naked.

I have a friend who recently bought a SuperDuke and absolutely loves it. He claims its all the fun of a sportsbike wiThout the pains...

To make me even more jealous its him who sent me that Vid shortly after arranging his RC8 test ride for next Saturday...i think his wife is having the Duke and He is having the RC8....dependant on the test ride of course, which i am sure, will be awful biggrin :could9:

Well I reckon it looks like it needs traction control- the thing won't go in a straight line !!winkbiggrin:
p.s. & possibly ABS, Linked brakes & every other device that takes the fun out of it........

I'm sticking by my opinion from Mitzy's 'weekend' thread where this thing last appeared.
I just don't like it, in the flesh may be something different. I prefer some curved surfaces, not all just some would have been nice.
Would rather spend my cash on a Duc Hypermotard.

10.5k I think mate...for that id rather have an 848.

From what ive heard so far engine wise its more on a par with a 848 than a 1098.

Find that hard to believe, KTM make great engines.

Saying that its probably £1000 over priced.

I love KTM, I think the build quality, value, and entire ethos are absolutely 100% spot on, I have owned 3 of their bikes and have one currently, the Super Duke looks stuning with a race kit on it (mediocre in road trim) but sorry the RC8 is just fugly, but it may grow on me it's not the first time I've been wrong wink

I really like the look of it in the flesh, but in that video from the front it kinda looks like a bike you'd expect to see in the 70's TV show Battlestar Galactica.
