Just noticed something is amiss!

I have my CBT booked for the 20th, and as I have had a full driving license from 1998, I knew that I had a provisional entitlement for a motorcycle. (CAT A)

Just checked my photo license, and I am only rated for B and B1! They didn't add the A to my license when they issued it. (Which I believe is all licenses before 1st Feb 2001)

Can the DVLA ammend this sharpish, or is their another way around this? Don't want to have to rebook!

Ta

EDIT - Just checked my counterpart. I have A / BE / GH entitlement.

MONKEYS!!!! Will the CBT peeps take just the paper?

Relax, the paper bit is the important bit.

Schools are used to this, take both bits with you on the day. Oh, and good luck. smile

Don't worry, I believe as the others have said, this is normal biggrin

I passed my car test in 1992 and my paper/photocard parts of my driving licence are the same. Your card part only has the categories of vehicles you are fully qualified to drive, the paper bit has the provisional entitlements.

I finished off my CBT last week and this was fine. Don't forget though, that you will need to take *both* parts with you to the CBT, regardless.

Good luck with the CBT!
