Ok decided to buy a kriega rucksack, but 25L or 35 L I would use it for commuting and a change of clothes , suits and boots, with my gym kit

So has anyone got these models and give some insight

I have the 35. Wonderful piece of kit. I used it last year to hold enough crap for 4 days at the GP.

A suit, in a Kriega?
You know on the label, where it says non-iron, and crumpleproof? Its not that crumpleproof biggrin

25l for me, brilliant bit of kit, whether thats carting the lappie to work, or clothes and bits and bobs.

Don't worry the suit is made of Raylon and has a nice shiny look

Thats all very well, but there's no chance at all of fitting the 4ft wide nylon tie in there to complete the look smile

I've had the 35L one for about 8-9 years and it still looks like new - apart from the odd fly!

Very comfy when it is on, with an inbuilt back protector.

I have both the R25 & R35. I use the R25 daily on a 70 mile return commute and it is fantastic, you don't know you're wearing it, and it looks like new even after 3 years of use. I bought the R35 for a 6 day trip to the Alps, when packed it was quite heavy but once on the bike you didn't know you were wearing it. I use it now and again as for me it's too big for just a shirt, sandwiches and a few bits & bobs on a daily basis so that's why I have the R25. I also have the US 10 which as has been said can clip onto the rucksacks but I keep my waterproofs in it and have it strapped to the pillion pad on my R1.

Kriega really is a fantastic bit of kit and well worth the money.

Waterproof, no. Drop them in a puddle, they will leak, as they have stitching and zips.

Big feck off storm proof - yes, absolutely. I'm happy enough with mineto carry my laptop around in in , in the pi55ing rain, does that answer your question?

Prices, don't think I've ever seen any of their stuff discounted, but tis worth the HG prices.

Dunno if they still provide them but my one - badged as a Krug, as they originally were - came with a separate inner bag for a laptop.

They are not watertight. I bought a 50 litre inner liner from Cotswolds (the camping & outdoor shop) for about £8 and carry it in the Kriega at all times just in case.
